Slivers

The sun is setting from behind the drapes of a bedroom window. As soon as you step outside, there is something missing. It is monumental in scale but its presence is barely felt. Housing developments and new streets planned on paper pave the urban sphere. Rock formations erased and chipped away slowly over time. What used to be a broad landscape is merely a sliver quietly existing between two buildings. I try to document them before they are rubbed off but all I manage to secure is a fragile trace.
